What a check costs, and where the free line sits
The arrival inspection and its photographs are free. The things that carry a fee are the extra photograph, the repeat return, and holding goods past the free period.
Nothing below is a shipping quote. Shipping prices move daily and depend on route, weight and destination, so this site does not print them. These are the service fees attached to checking and holding.
The shape of the total
The total cost of Shopping Agent service= Item cost +International shipping fee+ Customs charges
How the shopping agent service charges, help article 10019, read 2026-10-10
No separate agent commission appears in that formula, and the store description uses the phrase zero-service-fee purchasing. Item cost in the formula includes the domestic shipping from the seller to the warehouse, which is charged per shop, so a basket drawn from four shops carries four of them.
The customs line is given as a declaration cost of around 8.00 RMB per parcel depending on shipping method. There is also a published note that an outstanding balance may be requested after submission when a seller's price or the domestic delivery fee changes.
Fees attached to checking
| Service | Published charge | Unit | Source |
|---|---|---|---|
| Arrival inspection with photos | Free | Per order | Article 10086 |
| Extra photo | A monthly free allowance, then a service fee of 1.00 RMB | Per photo, one requirement each | Article 10099 |
| First return each month | Free | Per month | Article 10041 |
| First exchange each month | Free | Per month | Article 10041 |
| Second return in a month | Both freight legs plus a service fee of 5 yuan | Per return | Article 10041 |
| Sixth return in a month | Both freight legs plus a service fee of 10 yuan | Per return | Article 10041 |
| Second exchange in a month | Both freight legs plus a service fee of 10 yuan | Per exchange | Article 10041 |
| Sixth exchange in a month | Both freight legs plus a service fee of 20 yuan | Per exchange | Article 10041 |
The structure rewards getting it right the first time rather than iterating. One considered extra photo before the window closes is cheaper than a second return in the same month, and the free allowances reset monthly rather than per order.
Who carries the cost when something goes back

The grouping is the useful part. Changing your mind, ordering the wrong thing and deciding the shipping is too expensive all sit under the customer, and those are the ones the monthly allowance and the service fee attach to. A seller who shipped the wrong item, or goods damaged in domestic transport, are stated as not the customer's cost to bear.
That distinction is worth making before you raise an issue, because the way a problem is described decides which group it lands in.
Holding goods past the free period
Storage is free for 60 days from the stored status. The extension is a priced service and it is narrow: it applies only to items already stored between 60 and 90 days, it is charged at a service fee of 10 RMB per product identifier per month, and total storage is capped at 6 months.
Per product identifier is the part that changes the arithmetic. A warehouse holding six separate finds past the free period is six charges a month, not one, which usually makes shipping sooner cheaper than waiting for a seventh find.
Topping up, and the surcharge that comes with it
Payment runs through a balance that you top up, through international cards, and through the usual domestic methods. The published recharge fee for the card wallet route is 5.0% plus a fixed fee of $0.44, and the operator notes a delay of between one and sixty minutes before a top-up lands.

Exchange rates are applied by the operator rather than by your bank. The site rate recorded when these pages were written was 0.1619 US dollars to the yuan, which is a reading rather than a quote: it moves, and the figure that matters is the one shown at checkout.
Insurance, for the leg this site does not cover
Insurance applies to the international leg rather than to the inspection, but it is priced in the same published set. Cover up to 1,000 RMB carries a flat premium of 20 RMB per shipment. Above that the premium is a fee of 3 per cent of the insured amount, with a floor of 20 RMB and a ceiling of 300 RMB, and a maximum insured value of 10,000 RMB.
Several postal and courier routes are listed as not supporting insurance at all, so the choice of route decides whether the option exists before the price matters.
